About client
The client is one of the leading Farm Credit Services Providers in the US. They serve as a wholesale lender and business-service provider to 14 local borrower-owned Farm Credit associations in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Texas. The client is a federated co-operative owned by the local Farm Credit association co-operatives, which directly finance rural real estate, agricultural production, country homes, and agribusiness firms.
Client’s Business Problem
The client aimed to expand operations across rural areas in the US with better software and developed a newly crafted Farm Credit Application Suite. The client thus wanted a partner who could enable end-to-end functional automation testing using the DevOps CI/CD implementation to achieve a scalable and robust application suite. In addition to this, the client needed a stable application suite to ease the provision of funds and services.
Solutions Offered
To help client achieve the required goal, we enabled end-to-end functional automation testing of their farm credit application suite comprising of more than ten applications using the recent DevOps CI/CD methodology. Tx assisted the client with the following services:
Designing a test strategy covering multiple testing areas like functional automation testing and integration testing along with regression testing
Developing PoC (Proof of Concept) for implementing end-to-end functional automation testing using the DevOps CI/CD approach.
- Developed a Hybrid framework to generate HTML and Excel test results automatically using VBScript and C# language
- Created an executable file that read data and qualify (with the help of flags) which test cases to be executed
- Performed end-to-end Functional & Regression testing with UFT (tool), which was effectively used to test their new Application Suite
- Developed the Application test cases to execute them in any environment as required.
- Performed Integration testing with RestAssured wherein seamless data transfer was performed from one core application to another.
- Completed CRM deployment verification test case automation and executing the test scripts to perform the build verifications.
