About Client

The client is one of the UK’s leading international facilities, property, and integrated workplace management software providers. They are the world’s leading operation and maintenance (O&M) management software supplier for PPP (Public-Private Partnership) contracts.

Client’s Problem Statement

The client sought a specialist QA services provider to test their software and help expand their business across regions. Some of their main business needs were:

  • The client required help implementing the QA part per the Agile process for their flagship facilities, property, and maintenance management software.
  • Needed a solution that could help them not miss the project release timelines as their bottom line was affected.
  • Needed to enhance their application quality (Web & Mobile) to support their expansion plans across regions (the UK and Europe).

Solutions Offered

Tx created a shared testing center for the client in a hybrid model, with scheduled onsite and offshore execution. Teams conducted a gap analysis of the client’s current QA processes and practices and recognized how well the QA stream could be integrated into their mainstream Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Further, the team recommended an implementation plan to bridge the identified gaps.

  • Tx conducted an advisory process for the client in which the vision, challenges, process, methods, tools, and Agile approach were discussed and analyzed elaborately.
  • Implemented a shift-left transition of testing practices to ensure smoother deliveries and less rework.
  • Teams provided a solution to improve the client’s existing testing process.
  • Teams performed various testing services, including functional, integration, automation (web & mobile), performance, and security.
  • Automated mobile application automation suite and identified end-to-end scenarios for automation of mobile applications using the Xamarin tool.
  • Ensured continuous improvement of the client’s web and mobile app using risk-based and automated regression testing techniques.
  • Integrated performance tests with the Jenkins pipeline for quick feedback on each build.
  • Automated security checks and integrated with Jenkins’s pipeline for quicker feedback for every build.

Results Achieved

  • Fully operational portals for web and mobile: Tx helped the client grow from a novice with a primary web portal to creating several fully operational portals for Web and Mobile (Android and iOS).
  • Effective implementation of QA Framework: Ensured effective implementation of QA Framework by all third-party suppliers and in-house teams.
  • 90% automation of mobile regression suite: Teams automated 90% of the mobile regression suite.
  • 90% reduction in cycle time: Ensured a 90% reduction in cycle time and offered faster time to market.
  • 40% shorter design time: Tx reduced the design time by 40% using pre-automated test scripts.
  • 20% reduced maintenance cost: The framework’s reusability across multiple applications reduced maintenance costs by 20%.
